The Hurricane Risk Mitigation Leadership Forum was organized to achieve
a series of goals in the area of cutting-edge hurricane risk mitigation:
- Bring together the leading practitioners developing state-of-the-art solutions to mitigating hurricane risk.

- Provide a core set of facts around the past, current and future likelihood of the economic impacts of hurricanes to the United States.

- Get input from the public policy makers who have to manage hurricane risk in relation to societal needs.

- Explore current initiatives in the areas of building mitigation, hazard mitigation and risk financing. Integral will be to explore how these initiatives can be
commercially and economically deployed for the benefit of mitigating the risk.

- Create a forum discussion environment so participants can interchange ideas presented and insight created at the meeting.
